Now you can build your 1:420 AMT® USS DEFIANT the way she was always meant to be built, with these lightable upgrade parts! Originally produced by Don's Light and Magic, this kit once only included lighting parts for the Warp Nacelles, Bussards and Deflector. Now you can light this model in its entirety, with the Impulse Engines, Plasma Vents and Surface Vents.
Upgrade set includes:
- (2) Opaque Resin Outer Frames for Warp Grills (Port and Starboard)
- (2) Translucent Blue Resin Warp Parts (Port and Starboard)
- (2) Translucent Red Bussard Ram Scoops
- (1) Translucent Blue Deflector
- (1) Opaque Resin Outer Frame for Deflector
- (8) Translucent Blue Plasma Vents
- (2) Translucent Red Surface Vents above Main Engineering
- (2) Opaque Resin Impulse Engine Tubes
Upgrade parts are placed into the model by cutting and converting the original plastic kit. Certain areas of the kit must be cut away to install the new clear parts.
These are parts are compatible with the AMT/ERTL® #8255, AMT/ERTL® #8398 and AMT® #845 USS DEFIANT model kits.
